Don't flame me, bro. I've been looking on this forum. Didn't see anything in a sticky either.

From some of the posts it looks like it reduces catalytic converter life but increases the life of the engine. Is that right?

Such as Idemitsu and gasoline.

 

And this is obtained from your local Pep Boys or equivalent or is it dealer only?

I guess your adapter is going to be measuring a certain amount of oil directly into your gas tank. Is that right?

Also, does it gum up the cat?

Idemitsu is the way to go. I got a case of it from MazdaTrix (google it).
