Just drive the car and enjoy it, don't treat it as an financial investment.
And the last gen CTS-V has a detuned C6 ZR1 engine(LSA is a detuned version of LS9) so yeah, it can haul. In wagon form, it's definitely an interesting combination.

I think C&D is pretty legit. One may not necessarily agree, but such are automotive journalism. It is easy to forget about Mazda's last rotary hurrah, but they didn't.
