Depends on if your offer is out the door, or if its not including TTL?

Sounds like a good deal to me. Are you going to pay it off? If not, deal with the monthly payments that you could afford on the car. Good luck.

I don't know your financial situation, but the bank does. If they are only willing to lend you $14k, this hints that the wise, though probably less fun, choice is to wait until you have cash/credit rating/income income and get something cheaper to buy/run for now. There's not much automotively worse than making payments on a car sitting dead in your driveway 'cause you don't have the cash to fix it.

14.5k auto loan is huge. make sure you finance it at a low apr. also TTL = tax title license/regisration. they are additional fees you will have to pay on top of the negotiated price on the car. i bought my RX8 R3 pretty recently at 20 so if you have any questions feel free to shoot me a pm

I wouldn't say a $14,500 auto loan is HUGE.

you need to consider more than just the fact that you have no bills now. If you so choose to move out, or move on, remember you will carry this loan for 5 years. So if in 2 years when you are 21 you decide to be a man and move in to your own place, well you will have to carry this loan with those bills. Keep that in mind as well and think of your over head later in life. If you sign a 5 year deal you will be 24 before its paid off.

I think you need to come up with a reasonable car payment and stick to getting a vehicle that fits that.

Just cuase you have no bills doesn't mean you won't.

Specially for people in school, get a beater car that gets you from A to B and worry about getting something nice when you are done, have a full time job and making some real money.

I could honestly suggest for you to sit down and budget yourself to what you can afford...make sure u call to get quotes from insurance companies to see if your going to be able to afford payments, insurance, and the Maintenance on the car...do some research and see if you could afford it before u actually get it
