Lightbulb What do you do with the used oil?

It seems like such a waste to give my used oil to autozone, pep boys, etc...

Has anyone come up with something useful to do with the used oil? Brilliant ideas accepted.

keep it in your bathtub (or a 55 gal drum) and take a dip once a month for a complete body moisturizing treatment.

I pour it down the storm drain so it will lube it up. That way all the debris won't get clogged up when it rains. =)

I just keep adding oil cause the engine burns it anyways. I figure it will just burn up the old when I put in the new.

Store it under your trailer. When the floods come, it will create the neatest oil slick in your trail park and will automatically record a high-water mark on all of your neighbor's trailers. ;-)

Man, The comedy routines never stop.

I am currently using it as hair gel but It doesn't blend with the blonde well.

Put it in a bottle. Use a rag as a wick. Light wick and throw.

If I change it myself: I either use it in my lawn mower or in my 2-stroke pocket bike...
But if I have it done because I'm lazy: I pay the fee...

I used it to paint the fence.

Works great. Best oil stain ever!

I store it til the oil bucket is full then dump it at autozone or some other place.

Come to think of it IIRC all autoshops are required by law to accept used motor oil from the average joe schome. Now assuming the shops have to pay to have the oil removed often by a motor oil manufacturer then they're paying the company to recycle the oil and sell it back to us at a profit...

Put it into a bottle, bring it back to work.

If your boss *ask* you to get him a coffee, oh you know what to do

Save it for Halloween and then put it zip locks bags.

How you use it then is up to you.

Reality is that it goes back to the auto parts store.

It's like beer. You only own it for a little while.

I spread it around under other people's cars, under the oil pan --- just to keep them guessing.

Throw it on some neighbor's plants. I hear it makes great fertilizer.
