I live in CT and i bought a 2006 rx8 GT brand new in 06, thinking i was going to have the money to pay it off by selling my house,things fell threw.

Now not being able to afford the payments im not sure what to do? i would like to sell the car put i still ow around 18 thousand on it know the resale vaule isnt great on rx8 im not sure if i could even get what i need.

the car only has 23,000 miles on it i bought rims greddy exuast and some other expensive auido stuff[subs,flip out tv] so more money i already wasted but i do have a warenty untill 2011 or 12 threw the dealer beacuse i got the extended one.

so do you think i could still get 20 to 18 grand for it the car is in perfect shape never been hit or beat on, oil change regulery have extra parts for the car so
idk what to do or what people think the worth is pics can be seen in my albums and thank you for reading........ i bought the car out the door for 36,000!! should of went pre-owned i know! and i wish i could find someone to take the payments over too that would be great........

 

With the mods it is possible craigslist is your friend its free and here is also good.

 

its definitely possible to get that but you might have to be patient for a buyer to come along

 

Mods are worthless when trying to sell a car. You're better off going back to stock and selling your parts here. js

 

I agree about mods being pretty much worthless when trying to sell a car. As a car enthusiast, I wouldn't even consider a car that had too many mods. And try convincing the average person, that your mods are worth the price you paid for them - literally, a losing proposition.

The RX-8 has very weak resale, so it is particularly painful if the car was bought new.

agree with above - sell your parts on here and you will get reasonable money for them . Then you are not under such pressure to get top dollar for the car .

 

Flip out TV? Why on earth.......oh, never mind. Advertise it, what else can you do.

 

Go back to stock, sell the extra items here, then put the car up for sale. You probably won't get all the money, but you will be much closer in the end.

 

well only AM stuff i got os exaust, system witch i would keep and the rims could go with it
