Autocross (yesterday). What a blast!

 

Pulled my rear Konis and stiffened them up. Then I went searching for a 3" exhaust gasket and discovered that Autozone/Advanced Auto/O'Reiley's are pretty much useless. When they couldn't come up with a gasket, I asked for a "cut your own" sheet and they brought me a sheet of cork style gasket. Went home and ordered a couple gaskets online.

 

That looks tight!



I played a little slip-n-slide on my way to work today in the rain.

I Sea Foam'd my eight for the first time today. Geeeeez! What a mess! LOL

 

i think about my 8 everyday but yesterday i went to my brothers garage where its stored for the winter to see it.

 

Yesterday I ordered my BHR kit can't wait to get it.

Installed the iPhone ProClip - so far so good. Sticks out a bit more than I would like.

 

Installed a new upgraded starter.

 

I got a new intake manifold and now she is purring like a kitten.

 

Bought red top battery R34 , 5 quarts of Royal Purple, oem oil filter . Maybe Sunday I can do some work on it . My brother here from Chicago area so kinda hanging out.

 

My 8s in at the dealer for the last five weeks, but my wife wrecked the loaner...that's why she doesn't drive mine!

 

Bosch Wipers, new registration stickers and NYS Inspection.

 

Installed my replica ings rear diffusers, nothing special

 

I had to replace a tire pressure wheel sensor. The light kept flashing, come to find out it was a dead sensor on my right rear.

 

Put gas in my car again, seems to be an every day occurance; but, enjoyed the ride even more.

today i installed LEDS in the front my rears are done LED kit from rotaryfx, lebren 4th LED brake light and a amazon special 3rd brake light looks pretty sweet. I did the fronts this afternoon and replaced the fogs with white LEDS from super bright LED and DRL and interior lights with corksport. thought something was wrong when my DRLs stopped working but thats because I was powering the lights with out power and blew a fuse got a fuse and lights look great and JDM clear corners on Briliant black 8 look so sexy. ordered garage line headers 3 more days @_@!!!

 

Today I removed a Xentec HID kit from my car. My friend has owned this same kit for over a year and had NO issues. I installed it and one of the lights stopped working in about 3 days lol. It was only $30 on ebay, but damn I have bad luck with stuff.

Back to the horrible halogens that they gave the sport models. Damn did those HIDs looked nice for the few days they worked.
