My car clocks in at 175,200 miles while I was driving on the way to have my tires replaced at the tire shop, then this happens:

Er, what happened? Your bumper cracked on its own or what?

Maybe it was my old one (last car, before my 8) that I got rear-ended in september by a '93 civic lol. Sorry about your 8 though

Today I changed my spark plugs because the old ones were really scary from my secondary injector being disconnected. Runs even better now..no more P0300

replaced the undertray, it had the most amazing collection of zipties, bailing wire and even a bungee cord holding it on! it was almost cooler just to leave it on.

and of course upload failed, so you'll have to imagine it

last week i fixed all the broken stuff on the drivers seat of the blue car, pics to come later, but the lumbar didn't work, heater didn't work, and i'd get an occasional airbag light from the seat position sensor.

turns out all three were cause by wires that were chafing on stuff not sure if its just an early car 6/03, or someone was in there before me, but where you route the seat wires is important!

also getting to the seat back on a leather seat is a PITA!

today i put redline in the trans and diff of the grey car, MAN its so quiet an smooth now...

Attempted to fix my EPS system with electrical contact cleaner and die-electric grease only to realize my issue was the u-joint.

Also, she finally got a wash after 3 months of snow and salt.

Thanks! Google Dallas Custom Steering Wheel if anyone's interested. They do great work as this is not my first custom wrapped wheel. In all, it was a total of ~$419 shipped with extra 1/8" padding.

wheel looks great!

yesterday i drove it like it was a normal car.

today i went to the DMV and finally the blue one has license plates, but since its been like 6 months already and nobody seems to care, i might see if i can go like 12 months with no plates...

Just got my RX-8 2 days ago! Went to the currency exchange today to get my temp license plates and order my vanity plates. I've never driven a manual before so yesterday and today were learning days -- going around the suburbs / non-busy streets and getting a feel for everything.
