What is this?

Found it laying on my floor under the steering wheel. Looked underneath but can't tell what it came off of. Any ideas?

I found mine on the floor too. I don't remember where I put it. Somewhere at home.

I would think something that big being missing would be noticeable.

Any chance your car has been abducted by aliens? I have read stories that they like to implant devices that rob 20 or so HP.

I think it is the trim around the slide rail for the seat. Mine fell out too...and it just snaps back in

Thanks! I was serious, had no clue what it was. Judging from where I found it it looked to come from underneath the dash. Funny, mine isn't the only one that has popped off.

I still can't figure out where it goes? It doesn't seem to attach to anything.

On the back end of a rail of a front seat (probably driver side). Move the seat forward and you'll see it.

I took them off both the drivers and passengers seats and put them in my friends car for a net gain of 12 hp and 64 lb ft of torque if we ever race. It all adds up.

Note if you put them in a friends car make sure you put them somewhere unrelated (like around the battery compartment) or they might figure you out.
