Went to dealership now have Questions

today i went to my local clueless dealership and checked out the two rx-8s they recieved last night

now i've got a few questions
  • do the non-power seats still move up and down vertically, i was severly limited on head room, the seat seemed very high up
  • i noticed the drivers seat had to levers on the side, one to tilt and the other seemed to do nothing
  • one of the cars had a moonroof and all teh options but cloth seats, i didn't think this was a possible set of options

Yes, the non-powered seats move up and down. One of the two levers in question moves the seat (slightly) up and down.

the rearmost control on the power seat is for lumbar. Makes it firmer or softer in the small of your back. If you weren't sitting in the seat as you played with it, do so and you'll see what it does.

hate to correct you, but if you push that lever down again, it pumps down more, if you pull it up again, it pumps up more. keep trying until it bottoms out or maxes out. there's a decent amount of adjustment. unless you're over 6', you should not have a head room problem.

Should have room in a non-moon roof model. The you have to pump the seat control multiple times to get it to fully drop.

No way in the GT with a helmet.
