funny thing is I was doing laundry and forgot to take my keys out of my jean pocket. It was driving me nuts looking for it when I realized it was still in my pants submerged in water for like 15 minutes. I am not sure if the remote is waterproof or not but it still work after I took it out of the washer. I would think the buttons would have some perforation in it to allow water to enter. Anyone had this happen before? Thanks for reading my unfunny but embarassing story. Remote still work though:D
