Warrenty Question
Your warrenty will get the VOID is if they can prove the mod was the direct link to the prob
IE:My friend engine went out on his MT 8 with the K&N intake. Mazda tryed to tell him it was due to the intake letting in to much dirt. The service tech told him thats BS its due to the Oil build up that results in low-compression and that ='s Engine failed wich results in a new Engine.
OR
From what I was told on rx8club if you replace something that is not OEM that will result in automatic warrenty void.

Magnusson-Moss says that it's the dealer's responsibility to prove that your after-market mods caused the problem to occur. So they might claim that your Greddy caused carbon build-up in the engine and caused the apex seals to fail, trashing your engine. That one you could thrash out in court. For a clear-cut issue--like the air conditioning failing, there should be no problem.
If you wish to be treated with respect on this forum, take the time to search your question ahead of time (there is a ton of info on this issue here already), then express it intelligently in standard English and good spelling. If you can't bother to do that, don't complain about getting flamed.

It's due to threads like this that I say we disallow noobs from making any posts till they have at least 2,000 posts.
Yes, I meant it the way I said it.
Kidding aside, this is a commonly asked question, and you'll find several threads about this very topic if you search for them.

^^^OTOH--See the "TSB Warranty Costs" thread started by Noob CTrx8 today in the Tech Garage sub-forum--an intelligent guy using his first post to ask good questions, and appreciative when he got good answers.
