As I clearly stated in the title, I really want back into an Rx8. I haven't been on here in a while, not sure how many of you remember me, but I sold my '06 phantom blue a lil over a year ago to buy a ring for my ex-fiancé, fiancé at the time. Bad decision.

Anyway, I've been looking into buying a new 2014 Silverado, but drove next to my old Rx8 today and remembered how much I loved that thing. I've owned a lot of fun cars in the past: ws6, Cts-V, etc, but the Rx8 was probably my fave.

Just starting my search for a new Rx8. Wish me luck.

 

Just started looking on cars.com, autotrader.com. I'll check the for sale section on here, but anyone know of any good deals? Looking for an R3 with fairly low miles. Not sure on color yet.

 

R3s most common in Velocity Red, only a handful of Black Mica or Aurora Blue for sale in the country at any point in time. I've got a perpetual search on Autotrader for any that show up. Expect it to take a while to find one that meets your goals, unless you are prepared to pay $20k plus, in which case you can probably grab one fast.


You are treading on the same search ground I've been watching for the past several months. Periodically a good one shows up, maybe once a month. I can't buy yet, so have to keep passing.

I sold mine a year ago too, parking limited to 2 cars, and the 8 drew the short straw due to my commute and it's age.

I understand Roidz... we don't call it an addiction for nothing. To those of us that 'get it' with the Wankel, nothing else will ever do (and those that just don't get it, never will).

Good luck getting another RX8. They're not making any more of them (and probably never will), I hope you can find one soon.

Sorry you sold your ride for a chick that didn't work out, bummer. Upside is you will never make that mistake again! Good luck with your search man, hope it works out for you. I said I would never sell mine, but a guy offered me well more than its worth because he knows I maintain and barely drive it. I must say I have been seriously considering the offer. I don't know what I old buy if I sold it though?

 

I never thought I would sell mine either, but I had just built a house, bought a new car, and decided to get engaged.

If someone offers more than it's worth that would be hard to turn down, but it all depends on what it's worth to YOU.

Thinking about getting rid of my 2008 40th Annivesary RX8. Just dont have the heart to pull the trigger. But knowing it will go to a good home … then maybe.

Just over 41,000 miles. I have put on about 6,000 miles a year over the last 2 years.
