Voltage Stabalizer for rx8

Hi everyone,

I'm a proud owner of an Rx8 gt and this is my first time posting.

Anyways to the point, I have met some people in the city that own rx8's and one particular owner said that he had a Voltage stabilizer for his car. i looked into it and found some performance ones that improve driving and performance of the car. my question for you is, does the voltage stabilizer work"?

Not really much you can do to stabilize voltage in cars. I am actually curious to see exactly what he was using. Chances are it is a glorified capacitor which, unless you have a large sound system installed in your car, you wouldn't need.

If you look at the other things that the webite sells for the RX8, it kinda gives you an idea that its just gimmicky.

in theory it has some promise. in practice, not so much, or actually none at all. if you can't resist, it can't hurt either, cept for the $$.

There are better mods out there for the 8 anyway. For now you might want to stick to mods that take the place of weak RX8 OEM parts. If you have forgotten to fully warm up your car and shut the engine off a couple times than the weak ignition system will eventually fail on you and cause flooding.
BHR ignition system helps strengthen the ignition system and will have more potential of saving you from a premature engine shutdown here and there.
For added performance, save your money and make the Cobb Accessport one of your first mods through MazdaManiacs.com. For added money they will even custom tune it to your individual car. You might want to also buy a reinforcement bracket for your Clutch pedal assembly if you have manual. They were designed weak and the bracket will help buy you peace of mind.
Other mods are not going to give you huge HP gains but will add personality to your car unless you have lots of money and can afford Forced Induction.

Voltage stabilizer will give you this:

You get very excited when you got it from the shop. You hurried home and took out your tools maybe ask a friend to help you with the mod. You didn't even bother to read the instructions and started installing it with your friend. Your friend and you reassures each other and start fantasizing about how great the car is gonna feel afterward.

Both of you spend maybe like half an hour and finish the install and you hurried to start the car to feel the new awesomeness. Your friend jumps into the car with you and you started backing out of the garage and off you went for a test drive. After 30 seconds of driving, your friend looks over and smile at you, you smile back at him then you both decide to keep quiet for the rest of the trip and never mention about this mod ever again.

It is probably good for the electric motor. Oh, wait, it doesn't have one.
