I would like to get viper stripes put down the middle of my winning blue rx-8, do any of you have this and maybe could post some pis so I could see? I do like the big one through the middle with two thin ones next to it.

DO IT!! Just to spite the nay-sayers. Not sure what it is in human nature that makes people denigrate the innovator, maintain status quo, prevent the adventurer from having his adventure. Is it that we are afraid of the iconoclast? It is the adventurer that crossed the moutains to crack the ground in fresh fields, leading the way, making it easier for others. Why do we first call this person crazy when they do it, then pat ourselves on the back when we make the same journey on a pre-charted path?

Stripes are obsolete. They had their origin when chassis were no longer visible.

Remember the era when they were off-center? And people ascribed various things to which side? Much like which ear an Island girl put the orchid over, or which ear a single-earing wearing guy had pierced?

Fat stripes down the middle confuse me.

Stripes will make you different, Do a serch in Mulimedia/photo gallery there's a thread with just stripes.

 

Stripes are played out, you should paint SPOTS all over your 8! Spots are totally where it's at!

I think it's high time some one with a yellow 8 painted stripes aross the back end.

Maybe you can get some tape and make temporary stripes like those fake tattoos that kids wear - that way you can be decorative, and then when you are feeling sober, you can take them off and repolish everything......

 

I don't know as though viper stripes would go too well with the 8. It's possible that it might be cool for a short while...but you'll likely wish to revert in time.

At which, we all know isn't very cheap.

I like that strip pattern the best, with the 2 skinny stripes and the big strip in the middle. Thats the best kind i have scene yet
