I've always said, If I have a problem with the way things are being done and I know the way to fix it, I should run for president.
"they" being all those people in that big building discussing how we lead our lives, are people too. We sign them up because we think that the big mob of chosen people will make the correct choices. Sure bad apples in every bunch, but not a giant building full of them. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride. More to it then just. Put money in my house and all will be fixed ya know? Just again, the news miss represents and is missing 98% of the documents.

Sorry not trying to be mean I just hate how news these days portrays horrible things that aren't even there. Look at this "swine flu" b.s. I got a letter from my school saying the symptoms and awareness omg.....No one here has died from it (every reported case was regular flu strands) AND the "two people that died" in LA....like one of the persons got shot in a drive by...like really...wtf.

Oh ya then I remembered advertising drives TV, so I guess they have to have something esxiting to show so people watch and they can get high ratings to get money from advertisers.....
But ya I guess a flu is pretty ******* important apparently.

Btw I, too, live my life to the fullest and have as much fun as possible, I certainly don't spend time worrying about politics. But deep down, I think that's the problem our country - and the world - is facing, and has faced throughout the chapters of history. All I am saying is we're heading down the wrong path. A worse one then I was born to believe in.

Actually the "swine flu" is the avian & human flu incubated in pigs. Avian flu is a nasty bugger.
Since the flu is sort of new to our bodies it could overtake us like smallpox and measles overtook the american indians or like the plague overtook europe. But then once everyone got used to it it is no longer a problem (even though people still get plague and nasty stuff like that occasionally).
So basically its easier to freak out over it now and take steps to eliminate it completely, than to let everyone think its no big deal and spread it.
The more people get sick the more of a chance it has to mutate and cause widespread deaths.

Ya the alarm over swine flu is silly. Considering you are about 5000 trillion times more likely to die from cancer, then i guess the world health organization alarm level for cancer should be about 700 gazillion. Alarm level for swine flu is like "5" or something. OMG people we need 24/7 news coverage to make sure we notify people about anything and everything related to getting cancer!! We need up to the minute details about every person in our state who gets cancer!!!
