using old ipod plug as an ipod charger
Ok so I have the mazda ipod plug/kit installed. But can I use this to charge my iphone?
I'm a little nervous because I kind of remember reading a thread here that I now cannot find regarding it messing up the stereo and/or iphone.

The iPhone/iPod touch will play music but it won't charge on any accessory intended for the earlier iPods.
On a side note, my daughter's 5th generation iPod Nano was wiped clean while hooked up to my Mazda iPod adaptor

Wow. Thanks for the warning. Using pandora would be sweet but it's not worth it. I'll just use my laptop as a charger on my road trip
