I can understand spending money on your car, but I'm puzzled why the M3 forum is taking your cash. Perhaps you mean they are suggesting various ways to spend money on your M3. Improvements, I hope. In any case, enjoy your Bimmer.

I had an M3 for over a year.... 2003 with 19s, fully loaded.

I sold it in November and just bought another RX-8.

Goes to show what I think...

Good luck with the M3. It's different strokes for different folks and I hope it fits you.

M3 is a much different car than the 8. I had a 97 M3 sedan manual before and the 8 is MUCH lighter/agile with a well balanced chassis and better brakes. M3 doesn't have lame rattles/cheap interior plastics though so it's a trade off.

Online gambling is a $12 billion industry. Advertising revenue alone apparently doesn't cut it on some car sites.

Although I hear buying a BMW is sort of like playing the lotto. You never know if you're going to go broke, but chances are, you will.

I was looking at an M3 when I was shopping for my 8. To be in the same price range, I was looking at an E36 so higher miles, lack of warranty, older technology, so not really apples to apples at all. However, the Estoril Blue E36 was always a car I wanted, so I had to check it out. A different animal altogether but, wow, what a blast to drive, that throaty 6, firm shift, wide stance.... I obviously ultimately decided to spend just a few grand more and get my 8, but I'm pretty sure I'll own an E46 before too long.....
