SilverTrigger,
As a fellow Arkansan, I was wondering if this unfortunate accident had anything to do with all of the highway construction going on? Where did it happen? BTW I've PM'd you with less relevant info.

Sorry to hear about your accident, glad no one was injured seriously. Two comments: There probably aren't any aftermarket parts readily available yet, so that won't be much of a worry. It takes some time for the Tiawanese to make jigs and for low volume production cars, they tend to lag behind just a bit. The second relates to diminished value. There is a formula used by the car and insurance industry, although not readily talked about, to value a vehicle that has been wrecked and repaired. It goes on the assumption that if you have two identical vehicles, and one of them was wrecked and repaired, that vehicle, is worth less than the one that wasn't wrecked. So.. what what you do, if the accident was anothers fault, is to contact your insurance company and the wrongful drivers, and tell them that you want a cash settlement for diminished value of your vehicle. It may take a little prodding, your insurance company should be no problem, but you are owed compansation for the damage to your property. By fault of the other driver, your property is now worth less than it was before the accident. The difference in value *diminished value* is owed to you in compensation. Good luck.

Ouch.

(I don't suppose that there's any connection with the forum name you've picked.)
