Heres an interesting letter from the guys at URI:

What we do for the car will depend upon how much owner interest we receive from the owners. We are anxious to make products but for new pulley models we need access to a local owner that gets a free production pulley kit and dyno tests and a minimum 30 pre-orders. Flywheels are possible also and require 10 pre-orders and a sample flywheel. Clutches are the easiest and can be done without pre-orders.

I'll think about it, i don't know if i want my Rx-8 to be a test subject for preformance parts. Are you going to do it shaun?

 

Just ask URI what happened with the 2000+ Mitsubishi eclipse pulleys they had to recall and never gave our members $ back. Then they started bs about how it was Mitsubishi fault, even if URI makes pulleys for the RX8 I won't be in there "test program". Knowing URI they just probably sell you the RX7 pulley and "hope" it will fit in the 8, aka selling us the 3000GT VR4 pulley and saying it would fit and work in a 2000 Eclipse GT.

I have only heard good things about URI, but if anyone has a link to another site, just tell/show it to me, or if it anyone else has heard this please please leave a message.
