R&T said to expect a $26,000 base and a fully loaded at $30,000

 

Is this new information or something from the R&T article awhile back?

 

Yea, when is this info dated? I think it's old "not official" news.

 

Those sound like the figures Sam Mitani (the guy who wrote the R&T article in April's issue) published, but those figures aren't official. Quote: "I played a sneaky game of process of elimination with different members of the Mazda team and came up with this figure: $26000. A fully-equiped, top-of-the-line model, with 4- or 5-speed automatic, would come below or at the $30000 mark."

 

yeah... we can all hope though ;-)

Actually, that doesnt seem far fetched now that Infiniti said that their G35 Coupe pricing will be around $28k
