Got a TXS exhaust up for sale if interested. Not sure if you are local to CT.

Read the sticky posted above, you won't get much, if any HP from an exhuast system - maybe a full one with headers and all up to ~15-20 i hear?

In my opinion, I wouldn't get either - they are kinda pricey and I like the sound of a B&B or Greddy (those are my two choices I am stuck at right now) on the rx-8 without swapping out a midpipe, i would go with the common Racing Beat midpipe though as that is most ppl do on the rx-8 it seems.

You wont net much HP(1-5 hp gains dont quote me on that either), you will get a cooler sounding car though, and on that not I would go with the racing beat the turboxs is pretty loud.
read that newbie mod guide as well

I have the turbo XS its pretty quiet but I'm running cat back. I'm very pleased with except for the fact that I wasn't supplied all the bolts that I needed and the tips are no longer chrome which is the trade off with these polished stainless steel tips :/

I have a racingbeat exhaust and It's great...

With a cat it's not too loud, a bit louder than stock but not by much, has a nice deep tone at low revs and the same glorious sounds at high revs. Looks great, as long as you polish it weekly the tips stay nice.
