I don't know why...why Americans talk like this I feel they are being arrogant, but when Aussies talk like this I feel they are being funny and optimistic

The question we all have for you is this......

Are you telling us that you will be effectively converting your car into an EXACT mechanical replica of Horsley's Motor Show car?

You should keep to V8s young men, you obviously can't tune engines like us men from OZ. Or possibly stick to Playstation2

Like I said I will get back to you after I speak to the God of Turbos in OZ.
9100RPM
Good luck talking to "god" he will need to be on your side to pull this one off :D As for other part I guss I had that coming but you must understand what you are saying has never been done before so YA!!! it's really hard to believe I for one thank 360HP on a "stock" Renesis will "POP" the Motor/Trans./Dif. really really fast, you may hit 360hp but it will be for a very short while. But I hope you prove all of us skeptics wrong so... Good Luck

Care to show me one single worthwhile turbo that is manufactured in Australia?

Yes, us yanks know nothing about making fast cars of all types, tuning cars, and drag racing

9100RPM

You're kidding right...

When an Aussie tuner does something like this with a Z I'll take notice. I laugh at your piddly 427hp example, and what does a Z have to do with the RX-8?

Hello mates

This is NOT a turbo kit,it is a complete limited edition vehicle available from Mazda Australia similar to the RX 7 & MX5 SP.If you already have a RX8 then you would have to trade it on the turbo model as it is not an aftermarket kit.

Is this for real, there is a limited edition RX-8? Tell me more as the local Mazda Dealer knows nothing!

OIC, you aren't getting the Horsley modifications.....BTW, Tyler550 is somewhat mistaken, I believe. There is no limited edition being released by Mazda Australia.

Okay....we're wasting our time here....move along.....

There is a limited edition 8 being released here in Australia, but it definitely is not turbo..... nothing that masculine, only something purple and beige.

Tyler 550 wrong ?
I am never wrong, just ask ALL the women I have dated ; )
My information is from a guy who was heavily involved w/ the development of this car.Now i know there r allot of b.s artists on the web so feel free 2 call me a lair,****** or whatever u want....But there WILL b a turbo RX 8 & when it is released,I will come back 2 this forum & gloat.
This months issue of "Motor" states,"Buyer interest will determine if there's a production future for the turbo"
Take my word 4 it,there is already a very long list of people willing 2 pay approx $90,000 for a weapon.Myself included,I need a second car.
Also, any supercharged MAZDA SPEED RX-8 will b 4 Japan only.
Later Mates

I just came back from my 2nd test drive today...

I've learned this:

The RX8 is a GREAT car as it is, point blank, and I could live with it's power with many SMILES on my face for years to come. I hope it makes more power, RELIABLE power, one day but if it never happens...so be it, it looks great and performce VERY WELL in all performance tests.

AND I DON'T EVEN OWN ONE YET!!!!

I must laugh at us "Yanks" not knowing anything about tuning. I wish Lingenfelter was alive so he could take you for a ride in one of his Twin Turbo 1000+hp (over 800 at the wheels) C5's. They are street legal, by the way.

Get real man...haven't you yanks got a sense of humour (note spelling in English not Yanklish) . I wish he were alive as well!

Seriously, around the world, we always admire yank engineering and your local market cars. Look at the wonders of the GM World...Corvair, world's most dangerous car!? You have to import a Holden Monaro, rename it change the smooth styling to try Yank styling cues, such as fke air scoops etc. The thing is npw UGLY!

It's amazing that every manufacturer in Europe and Japan has to revise the engineering to suit the Yank market. Why is that? Oh yes I remember.....! Keep your sense of humour!
