just got a full agency power exhaust installed in my car with the cat mid pip. had my transmission light turn on, is this due to the new mid pipe i had installed or would this just actually be something serious i need to have looked into??

Transmission light? Do you mean your check engine light?

Who ever installed your exhasut could have hit something on the transmission causing the light to come on or there could be a problem and have nothing to do with the exhaust install.

You mean CEL(Check Engine Light)?

You will usually get a CEL if you install a midpipe. Some people on the other hand don't get it. It should be no problem. An AP can mask the CEL. Other than that if it is this case it should be no problem at all.

ya i actually looked at it when i got in the car this morning. so ya it would be the check engine light. after looking at it it does say that one of the reasons for this light going on is for emissions sensor reasons which makes since since i took off the cat converter. so its prob nothing just the sensor picking up the change in the cat pipe.
