Get a new one and if you are under warranty maybe you can get Mazda to cover it.

 

Welcome to the club..(breakling trannys club)... I think your best bet is trying to get a used one. I paid 950 for a used one, who knows you might find one cheaper.. Becouse New will be A lot of money. ....... unless you are still on warranty, you have a GREAT dealership to go to and a very good excuse to explain that it just broke and ofcouse MAYBE you have a chance of getting a replacement. If not we are back on plan A.... Get a used one.....

 

There are good rebuilds too out there with better syncros than the stock ones.

hmm i downshifted to 2nd when i was going pretty fast .. pretty crazy i almost died.
its either gonna be a rebuild or a used one for me.
do u guys know where i should look for a used one?
