I don't know much about these cars but this guy wants to trade me I was hoping to get some input from you guys. I only got the speed because I needed haul equipment for my last job. My new job allows me to park and take public transit. My second car is a 2002 corolla and I have a covered garage.

I personally would think that you would be getting a hell of a deal, and he would be screwing himself. It looks like you just copied and pasted his ad, so have you even talked to him yet? If I was in his shoes, I wouldn't consider that a fair trade at all, and would shut you down.

Considering nearly all of the important stuff to know about an RX-8 relates to the engine itself and the other systems that support the engine, there isn't a whole ton that our newbie assistance can apply here. Perhaps going to RX7Club.com and going through FD newbie information might be more accurate?

"Boosted 13B-REW rotary" is dramatically different from "Boosted 13B-MSP rotary".

Until you know the difference, the REAL differences, and why, you shouldn't even consider EITHER.

Like I said, he is driving an RX-8 chassis, but the motor is apparently from an RX-7. I'd recommend checking RX7Club.com for FD newbie stuff.
