tired of exhaust fumes
The one thing I hate about my rx8 is the exhaust fumes coming into the cabin. Anytime I drive with the windows down I smell exhaust and sometimes it comes through the vents as well. Just a 15 minute drive and my clothes smell like exhaust. I've searched about this and all I've found is that it's normal with these cars. But I don't see many people complain about it. Do you guys have this problem too?

The car runs a little rich in stock tune.
It may be time to get a new cat possibly.
Also, if you get an accessport you could lean out the tune some which might help with some of the released unburnt fuel

you might wanna check and see if you have some type of exhaust leak. I drive with my windows down whenever I take the sidestreets and I haven't noticed anything as far as exhaust fumes.
and for your the fumes getting in your vents with the windows rolled up, a new aldehyde cabin filter might help. but that's just a band-aid tho' I would still investigate if there really is a leak in your exhaust system.

Its not normal at all.
Go to the dealer and have them check your catalytic converter.
You sure you dont have a CEL?
I had the same problem, with a CEL as well, had the CAT changed under warranty a couple of weeks ago, and the smell is gone.
CAT was completely done.

It was a leak. Two of the gaskets were leaking. Wasn't loud and there wasn't really any soot around them but you could definitely feel it puffing out. Dealer had to order the gaskets.
