Tint help!

I was wondering if anyone has any picutures of a Sunlight Silver 8 with either 20% or 35% tint? I had a white Explorer with 20% tint and had no problems......got a black 05' Mazda 6 with 20% and got pulled over 3 weeks after and had to get it pulled off. I now have an Silver RX-8 (couldnt take it anymore and traded the 6 for it and LOVE it!) and am getting it tinted next week but dont know what to do.......I like how the 20% looks but couldnt see too well out of my 6 at night and dont feel like getting pulled over again and spending $250 after its all said and done to get it tinted and pulled off. Any suggestions or pics to give me an idea?

I have no pics for you, but have you considered 35% on the sides and 20% for the rest? I can see fine at night in most cases and I haven't attracted the attention of Irvine cops yet. (Been pulled over twice since my installation, but they didn't mention tint). It may be because they see that the sides are lighter, so that you made an effort to make it more "legal".

Only way to not get hasseled is to do the legal limit. I don't know what that is in MD.
I have 20% on the front and 5% on the back doors and window.
I can see fine at night. But I live in AZ. Just ask the "Window Tint " installer ,what is legal. If you don't want to get pulled over.

I would go 30% all around....not too dark to attract attention from the po po's. cali is bad for that.
looks clean too.

so searching for tint didn't yield what i was expecting. here is what you want:

https://www.rx8club.com/rx-8-multimedia-photo-gallery-6/straked-106283/

i'm too lazy to read through it and remember what tint he has on his. looks sweet and he is one of the top photographers on here so the shots are great.

Im getting mine done for like $100 here in MD cause my girlfriends dad has a friend that has a shop and does it for like half but thats cheap for around here......its usually more like $215+ elsewhere. As far as I know from the couple places I went before its not any cheaper based on the %, at least not here in MD

1. Legal tint in MD is 35%.

2. $215 is a ripoff.
