Yeah, I am torn between the gunmetal and gold. I love the gold an a few vehicles, namely subaru's. I have seen concept sketches on the 2007 STi and they look great...

Gunmetal/aluminum rims look great no matter what you put them on, I despise chrome rims, those big ugly dub rims are, from a performance standpoint, useless. I would like to have some nice, light, balanced, pressure treated aluminum wheels form BBS.

BTW, Red would look sweet with the gold...

Maybe I can get the TE37's in gunmetal???

The LE37 series has the same rim, roughly the same at least, in a nive gunmetal... Even a matte black carbon coating would look great to.

Go for the Gold! If you are going to get the best car. Make it look good! You can brag about your girl back home while you are gone. Make sure you get some pics to take with you.

I say go get an Evo. Especially if you're a gearhead you'll have a lot of fun modding the Evo and you actually get hp gains with the Evo when you mod it :p

If you get an RX-8 I think white with gold wheels would look outstanding.

Watch out in basic Virgil, they will try to suck money out of you at every corner. And FYI Ranger-Airborne is not a MOS. Good Luck.

Airborne is an MOS as far as I know, Rangers is a voluntary thing is it is not concidered an ACTUAL MOS designation. However, in my contract I have "airborne Ranger" as part of it so if I pass all my training I am garunteed a shot at RIP and Ranger School.

I also need to start out as a basic Infantry before I can qualify for Airborne and need airborne for rangers. Call it a very early volunteer for ranger school.

Even once you get past airborne, rip, and ranger school your MOS is still 11B or 11C. You can be in Chem Corp and still be a Ranger. Just keep your head straight and you should be fine.

Yup, pretty much what everyone else has told me. I went to a DEP training battalion today. It was fun, well about as fun as map reading and learning how to use the compass can be...

... rich SOB thats for sure

Just plz, PLZ don't crash it and make yourself one of the countless teens who get a really nice sport compact/sports car then crash it trying to impress a girl. Take it to the track to learn how to drive fast, don't do it on the street.

Sry, don't mean to judge, but if I were you I would baby that thing and make sure it is as happy as an rx8 could be. (also, follow the break in period).

I will most likely just have to buy myself a bike for transportation (most likely a used 600RR or R6) and to get my speed ya ya's out until I get my car. Even after that I may ride my bike more and end up having my car being an on going project to satisfy my modification cravings.
