Are you mental? You may need to review the scca results you posted. It shows an 8 driver getting a better time than the s2k. Oh and I dont care if you say you need to take the average runs BECAUSE YOU CANNOT PRODUCE THE NUMBER OF 8 VS S2K DRIVERS. THE POINT IS THAT IT IS POSSIBLE TO BEAT THE S2K ON TRACK AND STREET AND BEING A 4 SEATER AT THAT.

Well it's possible for a good driver in a neon to "whoop" a 911, so what's your point?

The few anomalies don't mean anything other than a good driver in an inferior car beating an average or bad driver in a superior car.

anomalies? we have yet to see you produce the number of 8 drivers.

You contradict yourself once again what is this like the 10th time? Now you say speed comes from the man not the machine.

And yet to see you produce a number as well. It's safe to say that SCCA is a national organization with over 100 chapters nation wide with countless numbers of cars competing.

Your request for number of 8 drivers is besides the point. You scratch tooth and nail to find something better about the 8 in a sporting/competitive sense...

BESIDES...all the mags that we love to hate already stated the same thing. SCCA only further verifies their findings.

You're desperate now.

I never said speed didn't come from the man but I did say that it is a combination of the man and the machine. A car's limits can only be pushed by a good driver, but a car's limits will always be that. LIMITS. Not all cars are equal...and in the case of the few RX-8's putting out better times than the S2K can equally be argued that there are a multitude more drivers in S2K's putting out better times than a multitude of RX-8's. And as I've already stated...driver skills of all levels are put to the test at SCCA...so how can you attribute any one trend of a car's times to driver skill? The car consistantly laps competitive times...driver abilities is not a factor when considering SCCA as a whole. Only in individual cases like "one RX-8 lapped a better time than an S2K." NO **** sherlock.

Again, I reiterate:
by your logic 8 drivers as a whole are poor drivers. take your happy *** to the autocross section of the site and let them know...I'm sure you'll be welcomed with open arms. speaking of which there are quite a few people on both this and the s2k boards who autocross...let them all know that apparently if you drive an rx-8, you suck at driving and if you drive an s2k, you're a great driver...you know...since the national solo II trends can only be attributed to driver skill...naw...it couldn't be the cars...(insert sarcasm)
A-stock vs B-stock....enough said.

Yeah really...his logic is worse than beer logic.

Look at this:

Hahaha sounds like a drunk. This is the most absurd contradiction..."argument is about handling, not about how it drives on the track." WTF???

1. still you are speculating

2. searching rx-8 and s2000 on scca website reveals 81 hits for s2000 and 19 for rx-8, so there you have it, case closed.

Oh...there you go that PROVES EVERYTHING.

hits on a website...wow now that is...I'm speechless. There are no words for the stupidity in your logic.

You've lost the battle on whether the RX-8 or S2K are better track contenders in stock form, and now you've moved on to trying to argue about how many people race each car in solo ii?

God...you just want to argue anything you can. I don't care how many race...it's all speculation no matter which way we argue it.

All I know is that we've established that the S2K is faster in acceleration and more responsive in handling. Every article says it, as posted about motortrend...and SCCA only supports their findings.

So here's a timeline of you in this thread:
Speculation and unfounded claim---> plagiarism--->arguing back and forth about physics that you cannot prove--->arguing SCCA results--->denouncing "4 bangers"--->ridiculously arguing about how many people compete in each car.

Well there you have it...the logic and reasoning of a 9 year old. Drunk. On crack, and without a pulse.

All the while, you have conveniently avoided the motortrend article that was posted...showing which was a better handler. And before you go accusing anyone of mag racing...remember...it's either that or SCCA. They only support eachother's same findings. Nice. Go ahead and keep arguing...I have no idea what your point is anymore. All your half baked theories have been shunned already.

I would like to congratulate Turbodiesel for having 47 posts, all of which are completely moronic, and all in this one thread. Idiotic behavior such as yours is truly an accomplishment! So, are you going to tell us your alias or are you going to keep dazzling us with your stupidty in anonimity?

Again the street numbers... too close to call for all of us mortals. What car do you want to tell your girl you drive, Honda, or Mazda? Believe you me, they like the 8!
Hyogen, did you ever think that your post would turn into this, this is too much fun.

"They" sure do, but usually they have died down by the time they get locked. Be careful, "they" are watching you at all times.

When you get way older you have to justify to CINC house (commander in chief house) the purchase of these items.
Be patient grasshopper, you will soon learn.
