I understand it. It's a big (usually) chunk of cash IN THEIR HAND. I usually try to invest my earnings, or else reduce debts. Some consumers are just too hungry...

When I was doing contract work (self employeed) I once owed $25,000 more than I had. It was rough.

Working for a big corp, I don't have that issue... this year I took 5 deductions. Will be interesting to see how close I got. I think I'll still be getting back several thousand though.

Also I get back $1300 cause I bought a clean diesel

i like to think that as i pay in through out the year it almost forces me to save, because i know that if i didnt i would end up spending all that money most likely on useless stuff. so come time i get my tax return its exciting because its basically money that i "saved" through out the year.

to answer the question, either buy another motorcycle, got my eye on a 07+ ninja zx6r, or maybe a cbr600 rr... orr... yamaha r6.. i dont know to hard of a decision!!!

Should be a good year for me. Bought a house in the Spring so I get the fed tax credit.

Just got the car and Iv'e already ordered some parts for a tune up as well as the Auxmod. I think the tax return will pay for new brakes.

yeah guys it's pretty hard to get it to what it should be........$0 in and $0 out. that's near impossible. OWING isn't good either, unless you make yourself save throughout the year. i think anything under 1 grand is as good as it gets. it's not like we're loaning the gov't 10 or 20 grand here. the way i look at it, if i can get 800-1000 back, that's perfect...just enough to make it seem like i'm getting a lot of money, but not so much that it made me strapped all year.

don't get me wrong, i don't like loaning $ interest free either, but it's not like $800-1000 is like 30-40 bucks per paycheck or something...like others said, it's a nice little "savings" that otherwise might have gotten lost in random spending through the year...

besides, some people, like someone mentioned, get money back not matter what. ie single parents, tax rebates, etc. there's nothing you can do but wait for tax time to get the money!

Pfft, I never get **** back. I will pay once again. Most of my employees are single moms and get a **** load back and buy a bunch of **** they don't need rather than pay bills

  • higher temp brake fluid
  • stainless steel brake lines
  • CG-Lock seat belt lock
  • Racing Beat front and rear anti-roll bars with front end links

im starting to lean that way. i think its the best looking bike, such an aggresive front end. although reviews said it was the least "street freindly" bike. the hondas seem to hold there value and are hard to find for a good price. and i already own a ninja, not a good reason to venture away from them as i love the bike, i would just like something new.

Don't know how much I'm getting back... but if it's around the price, I may just have to pick up an AccessPort.
