does any one know if you can fit the new tail lights from the 09 rx8 onto an 05 one

to the OP...they will fit, but they will not be flush with the rest of the trunk, there is a pic somewhere on this forum where a member did this...looks like crap, but that's just me.

do not do. that fitment looks horrible and cheap. with the fitment like that it looks like something ordered out an APC catalog.
