Am I the only one with water in my right tail light?

no, plenty others have them. replace at dealer.

yeah, do a search....tons of people have had that. dealer will replace under warranty

The reason that most people have water in their tail lights is because the light gasket that Mazda makes is just a piece of crap. So, here is a small DIY solution..

explanation of what everything is might be useful... obviously traced the gasket to make a stencil but what did you cut using the stencil? Also, is the kirin lemon required?

My right taillight looks horrible as well. I'm taking it in on Monday to get it serviced.

Thanks for your responses, but I don't think a dealer will do warranty work on my "04 8 with 56k on it. If it is only the gasket, then "Right stuff" silicone gasket maker will work. After all I flunked home ec.

It might not hurt to ask the dealer, esp because they'll know that this is an exceedingly common problem. I've had both sides replaced.
