Sun Visor replacement out of warranty?
So I went into Mazda a few days ago to get a CEL diagnosed and they wanted $130 just to "diagnose" it aka hook it up to the scanner and read the code. I am out of warranty which is why they wanted such an absurd amount of money.
Now what I was wondering is if the sun visor is replaced out of warranty due to a recall or something since it is cracked in the middle and has seperated where the glue should be.

Visors are pretty cheap, just to buy and replace it yourself (just a couple screws and a small plug) anyone with a Phillips screw driver can replace the visor themselves.

there's a DIY for fixing the visor. https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-do-yourself-forum-73/diy-sun-visor-fix-152315/
as for pulling the code, go to AutoZone - they'll do it for free.
