Stupid winter storm causes withdrawal symptoms

Two days leaving my 2-weeks old RX-8 grounded and driving my previous car, a Hyundai Accent, since the NE storm started... I'm having withdrawal symptoms now. I sooo want to get the 8 out but road conditions are still crappy and dirty

How do you guys cope with storing the car all winter when I'm already hurting just 2 days without driving it????

No...I havent driven my car in a couple weeks. I'm in stealth mode. You will no doubt see me around town in the next few weeks. Your car looked great by the way

I drive it in the winter, bought 17" wheels and snow tires, its fun to push to the limits, and then a little further. I almost put the stocks back on recently, and then it was fresh snow last night and ice/snow this AM. In the ~two months I have had the car, I have only missed one day of driving, and that was painful.

Simple- invest in some winter tires and enjoy the hell out of it... rear wheel drive tossability when you want to have fun and DSC/TCS when you want to be safe. I can't imagine seeing my '8 in the garage every day and walking by it to drive something else.

That would be the plan for me next winter. I figured that I could save some time and money right now using my old car for the remainder of this winter since it's about to be over anyway (or so I thought). But I never thought I would miss driving the car so much

Lol 2 days and you already sound desperate. I haven't driven mine since late October and I can assure you I am not handling the situation very good. I believe I am developing a bald spot from the anxiety. :D
