This is mostly a rant cause i am a little pissed. On my way home from work im driving. And this was on a side street so it was a one lane street. And im driving and you know those snow plows that also spread salt on the road. its got like a little propeller thingy and the salt gets whipped around in a circular motion. So im driving and i see it spread salt (in my head im like **** !!!!). I wanted to around it but like i said the was only one lane . So as i drive by i hear the salt hitting the side of my car. **** !!!!!! But i checked and theres no dents . But i was pretty pissed LOL.

why didn't you just stay behind it at a distance to not get hit by the salt?

 

Trust me i was going to do that. But either way the stupid plow was coming towards me. And these lanes are literally like 10 feet wide . There was just no escaping that big fat monster

 

At least there's no dents right? That's good.

 

Not that I can notice and feel. I used the flash on my phone to check it out and it doesn't seem like it. I really hope not !!!

I doubt the salt can actually cause dents. It cant be whipped around THAT fast to cause dents lol.

Snow came 3-4 weeks ago, so I stopped driving the 8.

don't think I will be driving the 8 for at least another 2-3 weeks. guess I have to go remove the battery tomorrow just in case.

 

I've been hit a few times by those already in the past 3 years of driving the car... don't worry, no damage caused except by sheer panic and very bad sounds!

that happened to me this year/ I was grinding my teeth as it happened.
you might have a scratch ot two, mine got about 4-5 little gouges in the paint.
I didn't notice until i hand washed the car while it was freezing.
I hate salt, Windsor has a salt mine so there is no escaping it.

 

kind of the same thing happened to me except that i passed the snow truck from the right lane. I was dumb to do that but no harm that i can see, yet!
