I Totally dusted a school bus the other day. It was great. I was doing like 35 and came up behind the bus. He knew not to **** with me though because he immediately pulled over and put on his flashing hazard lights. I knew he wanted to beat me though, because the "stop sign folded out. Obviously he wanted me to stop so he could tell me what an amazing driver I am, but I just took off while a crowd of spectators that had gathered by the side of the road cheered me on.

But seriously, There is nothing that warms the cackles of my heart like watching a guy weave in and out of traffic to try and get ahead of me, only to get caught in a pocket of slow moving traffic, allowing me to cruise right past while pointing and laughing.

Shortly after I bought my car, I was dropping it off at the dealer (off-hours) so they could go over it carefully and fix any scratches and dings it got during the 100 miles and several months it sat on the dealer lot. As I pulled into the lot, I see a couple of younger hispanic guys with an older, riced up Accord, looking at new Pontiac G8s on the lot (this dealer sells Mazda, Volvo, and several GM brands). As I'm filling out the envelope for the off-hours drop off slot at the dealer, they come back and drive past me doing the ricer engine rev and all that crap. I think to myself, "You've got to be kidding me. I'm almost 40, and you think I'm going to hop in my brand new RX-8 and go racing you and get arrested for street racing a couple of dumb kids? I don't think so."

I don't have an 8 (yet) but I purposely TRY to get the people who weave in and out of traffic stuck. I will purposely **** with them to get them stuck.

They come up behind me and I let them think they can pass on the right. (mind you we are already going over the speed limit). They swing into the right lane then I catch up to the next car in the right lane as fast as my little car can and they have to slam on the brakes to not rear end that car. I make it look like im going faster than that car so they swing violently back into my lane.

I just keep repeating this over and over... Those people must get SOOOO frigging mad. Thank god I work at a place with it's own parking garage that requires a badge to get into and has 24/7 security people.

AS far as I'm concerned... 99% of the drivers are idiots.

They're too busy on the phone or texting.

I was rolling along on a feeder rode through some construction at about 25mph. The left lane is a parking lot of cars waiting to enter the freeway, right lane is clear. Some douche with his bitch in an early 90's Civic suddenly makes a 90 degree turn out of the car line putting himself broadside right in front of me. His bitch was looking to her right and clearly saw the grill of my car darting strait for her, eyes become enormous! I brake as hard as I can missing the douchebag by about 3 feet.

I hope he got dumped..

I don't think I am ******* because of it. I feel more like a teacher and I am teaching them a valuable lesson.

I am also helping them so they don't get pulled over for speeding. It's all in a good days work.

Though, I really need a concealed weapons permit cause sooner or later, someone is going to go ape **** because of this.

Not to be taken the wrong way but, this line of thinking is pretty shallow. I can't count the number of times people do this to me and I'm not going 10 over the limit. Everyone speeds to some extent, so this point is irrelevant. If they chose to speed faster than you and want to get some place a little quicker than you care to, don't be an ***. That will put you with the 99% that are ******** on the road.

Aggravates me when I'm in cruise mode taking my time at my speed and someone just decides to speed up when I'm getting around them. It's not teaching anyone a lesson, it's making whoever is doing it look like an ******* and put a bad taste in whomever you're intentionally ticking off for the day, way to go, Karma will be a bitch.

Now, with that being said I believe you meant this towards a more high speed audience that is going in excess of 20+ mph over the limit so I may be excluded. However the point is the same. Don't try to control someone's driving style, it never will work. It will just **** them off whether they know how to drive and go at their own speed, are speeders going 20+ over, or are trying to get someplace that their life depends on, literally, as quick as they can. That and the fact you will eventually get in some bad **** whether it's drastic or not.

Let the cops, karma, or them going off the road teach them life's lesson. Let them reap the benefits of their fruit so to speak if they God forbid are going faster than you whether in a limited or excessive sense. Teach your friends and family when they're with you and leave it at that.

Now, the other scenario is if your remark referred to those who excessively swing in and out of both lanes to get by people, even though there is a line in the left lane waiting in order to get by a bunch of turtles on the right. I also get irritated when people do this and I will admit, I will hug the rear bumper of whom I'm behind in the left lane to not let them in basically telling them to wait until their turn. However I don't get this is what you're referring to with how you wrote your statement, feel free to correct me.

It's funny because most of the stupid drivers in Atlanta are in SUV's or BMW's.
The Honda / Toyota drivers [even the rice'ers] drive safer.

I always have jack-butt BMW drivers around me.

Gentleman/Ladies Please

There is alot of "turn the other cheek" talk going on. No, we should not act imature and race every car on the road. But, there has to be limitations about what we are willing to deal with on the road. For example, I stay in the left lane almost all the time. Not racing, but keeping up with traffic. By the way I don't know where you guys live that enables you to drive 5 miles over the speed limit or even 10 miles and not get run over. I live in Long Island NY. If the speed limit is 55 we do 70. Out east 80 or get in the middle lane. Anyway, my favorite a-hole is the one that thinks he is going to pass everyone in the right or middle lane. It's fun to watch them manuever into the lanes metioned only to get stuck behind grandpa. Then of course they try to cut into the left lane which is not happening.

The best stop light fun is when I role in either second or third. They think I'm in first so I keep accelerating intill I blow them away. Redline in my car with the RB flash is 66 in second and 96 in third. It scares the hell out of them.

My all time favorite is down shifting into third at about 60 MPH and going around them like they are standing still. Yes we need to let some morons go but there is a reason we own a high performance sports car.

I am a bit confused by this statement...they think you're in first and u keep accelerating until you blow them away???

A typical 2006+ camcord V6 can smoke our sorry asses on a stoplight race...all he need to do is keep accelerating in "D"...

Oh well, it does sounds exciting tho

To keep in content of this post,

There was a stupid 335i driver beside me right before a stoplight onto a highway onramps.

He accelerate uber quick just to be sure to get ahead...THEN brake so hard before the turns so I can ride on his butt....I didnt accelerate briskly. I just did not slow down in turns.

Of course he booted out at the highway straight, but the "wtfbbq" look on his face from his rearview mirror during the turns was priceless.

There is a lot of "turn the other cheek" talk because A: Street racing threads are forbidden, B:Many of us have grown up to the point where we no longer have to show off to strangers on the street. C:Track days.

Once you take a few laps going ***** to the wall on a track, driving fast on the street is just dangerous and lame.

BMW drivers are horrible too. Always speeding, unsafe lane changes, not signaling. cutting ahead of a huge line of traffic at an offramp and muscling in at the last 50 yards.

While I do still have the urge to pass the slow jackass in front of me, I no longer feel the need to show "I'm better then you" I just want to be past them and on with my drive.

This kind of stuff happens all the time to me. For some reason, people around here like to forget that solid white lines aren't meant to be crossed. And while they cross them, they like to forget about their signals. So they frequently cut me off while doing that, simply cause I dont have any clue that they're about to change lanes into mine. There's a cloverleaf near me that has this stuff a lot. I'll be in the far right lane coming up on an on ramp which turns into the exit lane for the clover leaf. People love to be "fast" and come up in the lane next to mine, cut across my lane and into the exit for the cloverleaf. I'll usually end up behind those people once I get into the exit lane, and then as they enter the 30 mph exit at maybe... 33-35 mph, and I casually come in at 40-45, they're quickly slowing me down. What's even better is when I'm a bit ahead and that happens to someone else, and the "fast" car ends up on my *** going into the curve. I love the feeling as they disappear as I get further around the curve. Though one time someone managed to stay on my *** the whole way through, though I'm not sure what car it was (night time).

Try the rest of NY, like what is referred to those who live near NYC as, Upstate. You go over 10 in general for the most part in the rest of NY with some places being an exception, expect your *** to get pulled over.

This is timely.

I was on the way to work this morning in my yellow 8 in the right lane of a double left turn next to a newish G35 sedan. Dude was 50ish, business looking. I know he's got the torque but those things are boats. With clutch ready, the arrow light turns green, we both give it gas. I am nowhere near flooring it because I am near work and I figure as long as he gets out of the way of my average spirited driving, he can merge in front of me. Dumbass punches it, the car in the left lane to the left of us honks because he thinks he is going to get hit, dumbass slides his rear end, luckily his DSC saves him and he speeds off at about 60 down a 40 side street. It was worth just seeing him make a fool of himself. When will people learn that a sportscar is not just about torque? DUMBASS wannabe!!! LOL.
