Strength/resilience of stock front bumper

I noticed someone bumped my nose in the parking garage the other day. It couldn't have been much force, but still enough to crack the plastic license plate cover. I noticed the lines for the hood/headlights/and fenders are all still good, so I am assuming it just compressed the plastic bumper an inch or so for like half a second but it does make me wonder. Anyone else with a similar experience?

So what are you wondering?

My license plate frame when i removed it looked like it was hit. I didn't have damage to my front bumper. I don't think the bumper is that strong... it is plastic. But you said not a lot of force. So... yeah I have no idea

Not very strong I would say... been backed into at very low speed 3 times... whole new bumper each time.
