It has been lots of laughs...tell me most of you don't love reading this!.....it's christmas so maybe I should be a lil nicer to Santa?...lump of coal for me this year

People also don't have to not reply if they're not helping. It's an open forum. Sometimes people reply to help answer a question, sometimes because they think of an interesting/humorous/educational/sociopathic quip in response to a post.
If you get useful answers - which I think you did - you came up roses. If there was entertainment value in the non-answer posts, you've gotten a bonus. If you were insulted, think how much it would have cost you to hire Don Rickles for an evening - and you got it for free!
