I'd suggest about a 15 X 10 cover. Brick, shingled roof, with a remote operating door. HVAC would be great too.
That would be a little more expensive than the $200 Mazda cover though.
All kidding aside, I'm sure there are a lot of people who keep the car outdoors. Routine washing and waxing should keep the paint looking great for years to come.

yeah
i'd totally get a little gazebo to keep it under, but i don't think the condo board would allow that. problem is, my reserved parking spot gets tons of direct sunlight every afternoon it's there, and i also park it outside when i go to work (and under trees no less, argh). . .

Mine lives outside. Gets washed once a week (if the weather cooperates) and waxed twice a month.
I'd rather it had a garage but I'm not about to put a cover on it and draw even more unwanted attention.
