Unhappy

IIRC from what I read in car magazines the high powered's time for 0-100km/hr is 6.8sec,while the low powered's time is 7.2sec.The difference is allmost half a second.I think it depends on the drivers,if the high powered's driver makes a mistake changing gears ,the low powered's is flawless, then the low powered can easily take the lead.

Why do you keep creating these dumb threads?

Standard power is pretty standard...the high power has higher power than the standard. But if we're talking higher power, we really can't on this forum because we aren't supposed to talk about religion

Look at that:

http://www.caranddriver.com/longroad...x-8-page4.html

Maybe after 40000m your low powered rx8 can have the same 0-60mph time as a newly bought high powered rx8!!!

You have to shift one more time with the 6, than the 5.
6-5=1 or 5+1=6

I only have to shift from 1st to 2nd and I have 105km/h just when I am hitting the fuel cutter, in my low powered 5 speed manual Rx8.

^^^I don't think anyone is being an *******, just search for the threads he has already started. He already has answers to this question. As far as I'm concerned anyone who cannot help themselves deserves no help from anyone else. He isn't even trying, take a look at this thread which was merged from three seperate ones:

https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-aftermarket-performance-modifications-23/diff-5mt-6mt-128380/

This guy needs to be banned.

How long of a 1/4 mile do you drive that you get to 6th gear, let alone 5th, or even 4th...

the 6mt would win. it climbs its gears quicker, because it has more of them. shorter ratios = quicker acceleration.

uh, i think.
