You can always switch to 100% ceramic brake pads.....they don't make any noise and they don't generate brake dust as much. And they're easy on rotors. Stock brake pads squeel and generate brake dust like crazy cuz they're made with metal composite. But ceramic brake pads don't perform as good as composite ones. So you either sacrfice performance or the other. It's your choice.

I replaced my stocks with 100% ceramic brake pads cuz the squeeling really annoyed the hell out of me. ....but since I don't race or do track..I'm ok with sucky performace...lol!! They stop ok though..it's not that bad if you're just driving the speed limit mostly.

Your screwed....

No matter what you hear, or do your breaks will always squeak, and there's no stopping it. Just pray, it doesnt happen when all these people are standing on the sidewalk eye'balln the car. Dont even think about taking it to the dealer...They'll do nothing becuase they know they're faulty.

It's just a figure of speech, dude......I know any brake pad would generate dust more or less...what I really meant to say was they don't generate as much as the metal composite ones. Geez....don't get all worked up over every detail!! It makes you sound like an old fart! Are you?

and another thing...if you think others' comments are not accurate or all wrong..then write your own comment that you think is "ACCURATE" instead of wasting time going around and saying others' are not. How's that?

brake your car harder.

Taking it easy to the brakes causes them to not properly wear against the rotor surface.

well by pointing out the mistake, isn't that commenting on what he thinks is correct? You said they don't dust, he implied that they do when he corrected you. And it's good when people point out mistakes so those who read the mistake don't get misinformed.

Well....I'm ALSO writing what I think is correct. But I don't go around wasting my time saying others are INACCURATE or WRONG. ..and also... read my comment again...and this time make sure you pay attention, alright? And this should stop now 'cause it's a waste of time. So don't quote me again. I'm out.

Didn't I say not to quote my comments anymore, you moron?!

FYI to anyone who is going to read this and get worked up over: I never ask anyone to take my advice. I just write what I think is right cuz it's all about free speech. If you think my comment is "inaccurate and wrong", ignore it. Alright? So whether to even read my comment let alone taking my advice it's YOUR CHOICE.

I have the same problem. I'm on my third set of stock front brake pads, 2nd set or stock rear brake pads, the rear rotors have been turned, and the front rotors replaced. Each time stopped the squeeling for a period of time, some longer than others, but it always comes back. All of the changes were made under warrenty by the dealer. Nothing solved the problem. It doesn't happen as much in the summer though.

My brakes squeal all the time. It's normal. My exhaust note dominates it anyway.

Hey - I, for one, missed this thread the first time around.

Thanks for the bump, I needed a good facepalm thread today. This is thread number...how many for this issue alone? Then again, when you spell things so improperly, I'd imagine the search bar is rendered effectively useless.

I just have one question...if you think I'm giving an inaccurate info then, why haven't you written what is correct?? so far...all you've been doing is nothing but getting worked up over my comments.... and yet you have not given ANY ADVICE whatsoever to the person who actually started this threat...who actually needed an advice. Some of us have been giving actual adivce to that person and all you've been doing was picking on others' mispells and getting worked up over others' comments. Why can't you be more like that guy Shaun74? eh?.....He actually gives very good advices.
So here's my advice to you.............stop wasting time being bitter 'cause you realize that there's someone who knows more than you do.........and just start giving advice to someone who actually WANTS your advice. How's that?

AND YES .....free speech means you can say whatever you believe is true.
If you can't speak your mind then, what's the point of having the right to free speech? Just because someone has a different opinion about what you think doesn't mean you have to keep quiet about it.....I do not think so, dude. So I'm going to keep writing whatever I want...and you can keep wasting your time on my comments like a freaking loser or you can start being productive with your time by actually start giving advice to who needs it. And that is NOT me.

I really had no complaints with noise on OEM pads (previous two sets). Just put on some Hawk Ceramic pads (first time try). Nice and quiet and LESS dust than OEM.

Man...are you thick or what? Did I ask you to correct me in the first place?? The whold thing started because you CORRECTED me by saying I was inaccurate and wrong.
I've been telling you to STOP wasting your time over my comments and start actually giving advice to whoever needs it. Who is NOT me. got it?..NOT ME. I NEVER asked your advice in the first place or NOR I asked you to correct me. I just said to give it to whoever asks for it. Man...you sure are thick..aren't ya?
