spyder LED third brake light

Unhappy spyder LED third brake light

OK yes I know what your going to say this is already around..anyway I did some searching and could never find what I am needing... As some of you may know installing this part will cause the DSC and ABS light to turn on..well thats the issue..I have herd to put a resistor in and it will fix that...well what size resistor do i use?

I have installed three or four of these in both series 1 and series 2 RX-8's and I have had mine for years and never had an issue

Do you have LED's in the tail lights as well?

Some get the issue, some do not.

Did you get a 7440 spider LED thing or a 7443? There is a big difference between them actually.

Yes I do have LED tail lights...its stock lens but i have LED bulbs in there for brake, turn, and rev..

Thanks man that helped...i bought a 1 watt 100 ohm and that didnt fix it

Why when #11 recommended a 2 watt 150 Ohm wire wound resistor? It might not work either, but it's what most have used and been okay.

yeah so now i bought 2 watt 210 ohm... needless to say that didnt work..any other ideas out there plz help!???!!!
