Not a big fan of armor all products. Wayy too oily and attracts dust like what ... I would trade that tire cleaner with the meguiars tire foam. Rest looks great, the Hot Rims cleaner does a really good job...just spray from far enough that it foams, too close and it doesn't really foam as much

edit: Mothers back to black will do wonders for your exterior trim as well

lol yea sorry i kind of ran on there. I mean I would trade the armorall for the Meguiars tire foam cleaner.. i forget what it is called right now.

As far as your rim cleaner, the hot rims, thats a great product. I wasj ust saying that to get hte most out of it make sure to spray from a good distance. If you spray too close it doesn't foam as much and ends up running.

Why would you choose something that is high gloss for interiors?

I use this stuff for the interior : http://www.autogeek.net/ultimate-pro...hannelid=FROOG

Honestly when you first spray it its all glossy but then once it cures it has very small shine to it. Not sure if the above product is the same

I use 303 and take that extra step to wipe off with a semi-damp towel after it dries for the new matte look.

I don't understand why some people love the slippery, glaring, and shiny look for their plastics. Look at every new car. The plastic and leather in the cars are completely matte and has a rubbery texture to it, not greasy and slippery. There is a reason why professional detailers only use high quality products which dries like an OEM finish but still protects. Then again, with some people liking the shiny finish, that creates a market for Meguiars to develop a shiny product .

Thanks For The Input Guys.

Well To Explain. That Armor all is a wheel protection that is applied after the wheels have been washed, dried and are cold. It basically builds a barrier to prevent brake dust and i saw the video on The Forum. I forgot which one so i decided to buy it and try it out.

The Result. It was extremely foggy and this morning it was really foggy and drizzling. Any who... The Rims You Ask? They were shining in the rain and i was out driving all night (to movies and dinner) i see no brake dust so far and it looks really Bright (like in the pictures)

& as far as the "high gloss" was mostly meant for the engine bay.... don't ask... but as far as the inside goes i don't go stupid and spray like the bottle on the dash a like spray for a whole area gets the job and it looks nice.... in my opinions

:P

Are you seriously arguing that you're aesthetic choice is somehow correct simply because it is similar to OEM? Now that's .

Anyhow, I recently bought this stuff because it was $2 at Big Lots and the interior on the bottle is the most RX-8 like. It is also the choice of professional chefs.

It leaves no residue, and when it is gone I will switch to the next cheapest decent quality product.

Well it is not just for the sake of aesthetics. Try driving a car with a shiny dash in direct sunlight. I prefer not having sunlight reflect off the dash and into my face.

Try to store the 303 protectant in a cool area. I noticed that it smells like feet when applied in the heat or the protectant was stored in a humid and hot area. I also have PB QD, quite good but adjust the nozzle accordingly. Because of the thickness of the liquid, it just splurges a huge chunk or mists at a incredibly wide angle.

Are you on www.autopia.org ?

Looks decent, but I would have used many different products to get the job done

Hopefully part 2 you branch out and dig deeper into your pockets.

Yea I read some cases of people saying the smell is a bit foul at first but goes away rather quickly. I basically plan on spraying my driver and passenger seat since they would probably get the most use, i very very very very rarely have anyone sitting in the back (my only passenger is the gf anyway).

PB QD looks like some good stuff, I couldn't decide between it and the Griots, but I have some PB polishes and waxes that are great so I figured I'd give them a shot, thanks for the tips on the nozzle.

I'm not on autopia .. should i be? lol. I order most of my supplies from autogeek.net mainly because they had the cheapest price for a PC 7424XP kit and they sent me an *** load of free junk with it.

I have 303 on almost all plastic and leather surfaces, inside and out. I only use it to protect the surfaces from UV rays since it has no conditioning properties for leather.

I have been on Autopia for over six years and it helped me learn quite a lot. Enough to be a detailer as a side job during my teenage years
