Ok so ive had my car for about three weeks now and i drive it the same speed i drove my VW and i got 1 speeding ticket in 4 years with that car, in the three weeks ive had this one ive already got two , How many do some of u long time owners have my cousin who is a cop said the car screams pull me over especially with a 20 year old driving it

 

the car does have something to do with it. plus what color was ur vw?

red cars stand out. if you don't want tickets, don't break the law and don't stand out.

Perhaps you should try slowing down? I always make sure at least one person is driving faster then me on the highway.

 

26 years, black. One speeding ticket. Stupidest thing - running on fumes, saw a gas station ahead so i sped up incase i ran out so i could coast in.

Got clocked within 1/8 mile of the gas station... BAH

I've had my car for almost two weeks, velocity red, and I am PARANOID about getting pulled over, only partly because my 20-year-old daughter bet that I'd have a ticket my first week. I'm trying to be very, very good... plus maybe they'll leave me alone since I'm 45+... ?

 

I've had mine a little over 2 years with no tickets (knock wood).
I don't baby it either, I try to redline every day.
Of course I'm 40 years old too, I'm sure that has something to do with it.

But I never got a speeding ticket.

 

Im 20 and I have galaxy grey and i got a 105 in a 65 but I was being stupid lol..

 

18 in a BB w/ black stockers. I got one ticket for supposedly doing ~70 in a 45 in the middle of the day in traffic on the golden gate bridge, which the officer said it was then 64, then took that to court and got it thrown out. Just watch your foot and you'll be fine.

95 dodge neon red: pulled over for no lights no ticket, pulled over for 72 in a 35 no ticket *(at 16) cop said "teenagers get screwed bad enough on insurance so dont do it again" I now do his oil changes at my work.

00 honda civic ex black, pulled over for supposidly 71 in a 55, i told the cop he was a lyer because my radar detector didnt go off. Ran away twice.

00 s10 never pulled over in 3 1/2 years

04 vr RX8 6 months never pulled over.

 

Im 19 and had my Titanium Gray RX8 for 2 years now and ive got about 12 speeding tickets a long with other tickets too.. (could have had a S/C by now if it wasnt for the tickets and lawyers).. the biggest ticket was 94 in a 65... Damn undercover cop cars... and had a couple of huge breaks too

I've had my baby 2 years, and have had 2 tickets both for speeding. One...115 in 60 mph slow zone on the interstate....Told the cop that I had a SUV hugging my *** for 20 miles and passenger corroborated it. Actually true, guy pulled off the exit the cop pulled on to get my ***! Dropped to 94, to save me HUGE fine and jail and impound charges. Second one 70 in 55, Sunday morning, no traffic on four lane highway....DAMN BORED trooper.

 

I'm 21. I drive a VR 8 as well. I've gotten looks and been tailgated by many cop cars. Doesn't really bother me..

Gotten pulled over 3 times. Only 1 ticket.

75 in a 55.. (busted)

Running the red light.. (when it barely hit red, cop lets me off)

38 in a 15 school zone.. (cop gave me a chance )

And yes, like someone in this thread said.. Never be the fastest guy on road or highway. Oh and get a radar detector. And drive safe too..

 

Had a cop pull me over because he got a call from another driver saying there was a "red dragon" dancing down a five lane interstate. My tag says "RDDRAGN".... I was in a good mood, sort of doing S curvy's in my lane to the beat of the music, very light traffic..... When they heard the song, after making me do the breath thingy they laughed and told me to take it elsewhere.

My Honda Civic Type-R did attract alot more cops then my RX-8.

Got pulled over like 20 times in 1,5 year I had that car, 0 tickets. hehe

been pulled over around 7-8 times but my dad is a cop so once they figure that out they just let me go lol

I HAD THE SHITTIEST DAY IN MY WHOLE LIFE !!

during rush hour ...was at the light ...was about to turn in to the freeway to head to my aunts birthday ...turn ...those *** were there ....got a citation for multiple violations

1)illegal tint on front side windows (fix it)
2)no front plate
3)illegal mod for non-cat exhaust (fix it)
