ok, just finished doing some top speed runs.

notes, 1) nose gets light at 120mph.

2) cel comes on at 115mph if your fuel light is on and power is shut down.

3) you can go 36 miles with the yellow light on this includes 3 wot top speed runs. before fillup. all ended at 115mph

4)after fillup, 134mph. with more to spare prudence and hills stopped the final.

the fill up between the last tank and the one i was able to run the car up to speed was 21.2.

btw, spent the day with liquid glass. this stuff rocks.

 

The CEL could have been from misfire due to fuel starvation, being that the tank was low when you were doing your runs. Would be interesting to see what code was thrown.

i figured that. the first two runs shut down at 9krpm .

the third backed off at 7.5krpm.

that ecm is damn smart, not that there is anything wrong with that.

this car continues to amaze me.

as soon i get my gps mp3 pda project done for my bike i cant wait to get into obd11.

More likely, the CEL was detonation detection as the last of the mixture went really lean at WOT....not a safe situation.

Ah ha! That's the CEL that I got then.. fuel light on, highspeeds. It was a "misfire" code when the dealer pullled it. Absolutely right about the nose being light at 120+ too, its not bad but stab the brakes quick at that speed and it can be a little lively.
