Sometimes Having a RX8 sucks!

I was curzing along me and two other cars(seadans) at 66mph in a 45mph zone on the highway and the cop picks me out of the three! Well..... I was speeding and am stuck with a $163.00 fine. Just Pissed!

White reflects light more-so than any other color. The cops radar gun probably hit you first.

I know what you mean by when they pick you out of a group.

Ahhhhhh. Microwave doesn't have the the same properties as radiation in the visible light spectrum. Radar doesn't give two ***** what color your car is.

Besides that, radar will simply return the highest measured dopler shift for whatever it's pointed at, and the radar beam can typically cover 4 lanes of traffic at a distance of 200 meters. If you have three cars travelling together, it wont differentiate who's going faster... that's up to the officers judgement.

You were speeding. Pay the fine.

When I got my speeding ticket I went down to the courthouse, saw the magistrate, told him I was only keeping up with traffic and got my fine knocked down to the minimum. It finally cleared off my record a few months ago and now I pay $100 less a year for car insurance.... whatever..

My military ID gets me out of tickets. It's great. I got clocked 92 on the PA turnpike and got away with a bullshit $100 ticket with no points or anything.

I think it is likely i will get a ticket for something lame like what you did. Of course I won't get pulled over when i feel like i will. it will be when i stupidly decide to lay on the throttle about half a second too long, and go like 70 in a 55 on ramp or something stupid.

I want to make my speeding ticket worth it.

You should put that you are an organ donor on your license. Everytime I get pulled over they assume i'm a good person and let me off with a warning. Also when you get your picture taken for your license, make sure you have a priest collar on.

Be glad its only $163.00 lol. I paid a red light ticket that was $500.00+, not to mention the traffic school charges.

Hmm...haven't gotten a speeding ticket in the 8 (the motorcycle is a different story), but I got pulled over once; and I was following all of the rules. I asked the cop why did he pull me over and he stated,"there were calls about a suspicious looking black male in the area". At first I was like wtf and then I loled because that was the first time that ever happened to me.

Got pulled over once for doing 70+ in a 55. Writen warning.
Got pulled over for running a redlight at 2AM on a Saturday morning. Verbal warning.
Got pulled over for having two months expired plates. Verbal warning.
Got pulled over for doing 55 in a 40. Verbal warning.

I consider myself extremely lucky cuz god knows I can't afford any tickets. It all depends on your attitude. The cops have much better things to do than pull over people for speeding. They'd rather not waste their time with you. If its something obviously and bluntly wrong, yeah they'll probably give you a ticket. If its something minor, they'll probably let you off with a warning just to scare you. They have much bigger fish to fry.

I wonder if you were just decelerating using the engine compression, (thus the lack of brake light activation) and the cop wasn't able to understand this. Who knows.

not really...a lot of times over here in jerzee it drops from 65 to 55 or 55 to 40...

75 in a 65 isnt bad but after that sign its a 4 pt speeding ticket... and theres always that one cop that knows this

not to mention that we all know a lot of 40 or 50 mph speed limits could really be 65... the random middle of no where 2 lane high ways that for some reason have to be 45 mph.... and theres not a person in sight
