Ha Ha........................we should go sometime. Have the .357, and believe it nor not(cause it's not widely known) I have a .41 Mag. And of course a throw away .22 pea shooter cause that ammo is cheap.
There really are no good places close by for rifles!

You see my post in the SC thread?.......sorry I missed the call......again. I didn't want to call back when I saw it as I figured you and Juan were busy.

**** that sucks. Today at work I had these two guys standing for like 1/2hr drinking coffee discussing my car. I could see them through our windows... Started to make me nervous but I knew my RX8 was safe because it was parked where everyone could see it!!

Guns are good...next time open your window and let off a shot into the air. Bet they will Never come back!!

Or... You could get rid of all that alarm and lock crap, go buy a 12 foot long python and just leave that in the car. Leave the car unlocked and outside. Put a hot rock on the passenger's floor. They'd get in, see that big ole snake sitting there poop their britches and leave. No guns, no violence, just nature...

i THOUGHT someone was messing with my car one morning this past winter. The night before, my doors were frozen over and I couldn't get in. I wake up the next morning really early to my car horn honking. The caked-on ice finally thawed and the doors were ajar, thus setting off the alarm.

i hope you find these douchebags, i doubt only one person is involved.

Was going to say that if this keeps happening to go out there and wait for the lights to go off and just wait for the little bastards, and just pump the shotgun one time. Everyone knows that sound and whether you see them or not just say "Get out here you little bastard" be ready for some 16 year old kid with **** in his pants to slowly walk out. Call the cops, end of story.

However you have great taste in shotguns, and all Benelli shotgun's are semi auto, so that takes away from that. Do not fire a warning shot you will go to jail for firing a fire arm in city limits, not to mention really pissing off the neighbors. Call the cops and tell them you think someone is trying to break into your garage.

They freeze. You call cops and that's it.

No one will attempt to flee after they here that gun shot.
Good point.

Justify or not, Its up to the judge to decide.

since you have the upper hand (you're the victim), you can do whatever you want. The judge will believe you. Tell cops that you believe they endanger your property. That is a crime and you can protect your investments by shoot their *** down.

Outa 28 years of my life, my home has been broken into 3 times, and the last one happened 6 years ago. For those who's curious I live in one of the best neighborhood in NYC. So Crime *shouldnt* be a problem in the first place.

I read a lot about home security, it saids that people paid most attention to their front doors or the path that they access the most, and COMPLETELY ignored the path where they travel the least. That is why most thieves choose to go from the back or the windows, NOT because its hideous or whatever, is because the backdoors usually have a weaker lock than the front, or the back window's designs are whack or not even closed !

So what I did was I installed some motion detector with a 120 db alarm, controlled by a remote. I customize it a bit so there is NO WAY a theif can see it without me showing him the location. The alarm is LOUD !!!! and its more than enough to scare most small crook away.

If you want I can find you some information. You can install it in your garage. Just park your car in, close the door. Arm it, walk away.

let them steal it. but before that happens lojack it. then the cops can find your car and no one ended up dead- including you. and you dont end up in jail owing some crackheads widow more money than you have.

its just a car

careful you dont shoot some damn possum or raccoon- then the animal rights people will be all over your ***

^+1 for Zoom, just a car. Maybe a home security system is in order though if it would help you sleep better?

By no means is my Benelli my only gun, i have plenty of pumps i could use to scare them out by just pumping it once...

And everyone, i'm going to look into a security system in the next few days, so hopefully that will help.

Wow.. just wow.. Rules 2 and 4, anyone??

--edit--

And the guy isn't even going to get charged?

--edit2--

This doesn't even make any sense.. what were the "other means" that he tried to make a hole in the wall, his teeth?

No, that would be incorrect. In my state, we aren't allowed to use deadly force to protect property. It is only allowed to protect human life or if your own life is threatened. I believe this is the case for most of the states. Some do however allow deadly force to protect property. If your a gun owner, you need to know the difference and the local laws.

Oh please. If you follow this logic no one would be allowed to drive a car considering how many deaths they cause...
