Didnt mean to hijack, I just get jazzed up when guys start making money from their ideas...all it takes is an idea and a plan to market it and the initiative to stick with it. I love helping people get their ideas rolling

The Rotary Revolution started with a few guys wanting to get together for a few burgers...now it's the largest gathering of rotary vehicles outside of mazda corporate!

Good Luck!

That's a good idea, I'll likely buy one if you bring it to the Revolution D MENAC 7.

I have got my decal and removed the 2 10mm nuts from the taillamp but the assembly won't come out of the trunk lid. Any suggestions?

i hate ******** that bid on stuff for fun and never pay...i hope you don't make this a regular practice....

No offense or anything, but that idea has been out for years on cars. My guess is that this guy came up with it on his own, just like you did, and he beat you to it by selling on ebay, hence the anger and jealousy. It's not a difficult idea to come up with. I can't see anything like this being patentable anyway, because it's although it's neat and creative, it's been disovered thousands of times before, and is certainly not new to the car world be any means.

Glide, use the screw driver to carefully pry open the clips holding the brake light assembly in place. It should come right out. I actually used a small flathead screwdriver on mine.

D Manec 7, I have received many compliments on the logo. Thanks again. I am sorry that someone else is trying to make a buck on your idea but it sounds like you are the one developing the market. I just sent him/her a message asking where s/he came up with the idea. We'll see if I get a response... Anyway keep up the good work I am very happy with your logo. Once I get my performance store up and running you will be seeing more orders from me.

Thanks everyone, the anger is over because these are moving like hot cakes on e bay and I do not think he ever sold any of them.

If any Forum member would like to skip the e bay hassles, just PM or email me, it's much easier and Forum members get it for practically nothing.

Yes, I am aware that these have been around for a while and I am not contesting that anyone could have thought of the idea themselves but, the info that this person's e bay ad had such as tools and such, looked awfully familiar. I did post the graphic for anyone who wants to do it themselves and all I have ever asked is that if they want to take it further in production that I at least am included somehow or compensated in some way. Can I legally enforce this? NO, not at all but I am a gentleman and I still like fairness and honesty.

Give it a little shove from the rear of the lense (where it shows when the trunk is closed). Should pop right out - mine did, anyway.

So, how much is Mazda charging you for the use of their logo?

Glide did get his third brake light assembly out and sent this to me via e mail:

Originally e mailed by glide Thanks so much. There were 2 clips that I was over looking. I got it out
and installed the decal. Looks awesome. Thanks so much
As 93rdcurrent had pointed out, there are two clips on the sides of the assembly that need to be pushed in in order for the lens to slide out.

Thanks for the comlements, slide. Glad I could share this with you.

Probably as much as every other product using the logo and who are not directly affiliated with Mazda does.

This may sound like a funny question, but just be careful. As someone who used to work in a marketing department, companies take their logos and names seriously.

Have you considered using your mod as a communicative type tool for drivers behind you .

Differing messages could be programmed to conversace with drivers behind you .

I would have , some funny ones rude ones , back off , *** hole , sexy , etc ,

just my 2 cents worth .

cheers

Sorry, nt5k, I am not in the t shirt business. If you make some, let me know, I might buy one off of you for my son.
