I have the Dunlop OEMs too, and I absolutely love them. Very grippy dry or wet, and after a half-dozen autocrosses and two track events, they still have some tread left (~20,000 mi). They're getting a little old now for track use, but I'd buy them again in a heartbeat.

The downside is they're useless in snow - hockey pucks - so I have snow tires as well.

I came across a great deal on some Toyo Proxies T1R's, (got all 4 brand new for less than $800) they are so much beter than the Dunlops that came with the car. I have yet to skid on wet or dry road and use them well in the mountain roads around here.

I really do recommend these tires.

When i bought my 8 it had 15k on them and the stock bridgestones were DEAD. I negotiated new tires with my purchase and asked they put the same bridgestones on (DOH!), well they are superb in the dry, but in the wet they are pretty shitty.

Unless it's the car.
