itd be great to see the rx-8 come with a "smartkey" instead of a "normal" key, and its too bad that the rotor shaped key is just an ignition key, and not the entire key setup if you know what i mean

I never saw the need to complicate a car with electronics when the regular ole fashioned way works just fine and has less likelihood of messing up.

 

well, there's the security bit. some friends of mine are repo guys... he taught me how to open my car in 8 seconds tho picking the ignition over took me a while like 10 minutes. then he goes and does it in like 20 seconds total and drives off =P

hell, vacuum actuated doorlocks like bmw's could be neat too...tho that's a lot more weight and really...REALLY shitty if your battery dies hehe
